The teacher in you is tired. The artist in you is muted.

A virtual retreat for piano teachers to reset their creative rhythms, rediscover the joy of improvisation and creating, and return to their students with a full heart.

No travel. No lesson plans.

Three days of intentional creating, artistic mentorship, and unmuting the joy of play at the piano.

You’ve poured your heart into every recital, every theory lesson, and every 'one more time' from a struggling student. But in the noise of teaching, it’s easy for your own musical voice to become a whisper.

If using improvisation with students is feeling like a chore and making space for creating and composing activities in lessons never comes to fruition, it's time for a reset: to remember why you love what you do.

Join the waitlist for early access to exclusive pricing. As a thank you, I’ll immediately send you The Artist’s Exhale—my 5-minute visual guide to help you find joy at the piano amidst the end-of-year rush so you can start your reset today.

Sessions and Workshops

Retreat Theme: "Improvisation: Reset your Teaching Rhythms and Rediscover the Joy of Play and Improvising."

The elements of play, creating (composing) and improvising are pivotal aspects not only for our students' musical growth and music education, but they're key (no pun intended) skills for teachers, too. We've carefully crafted sessions on the pedagogy of improvisation and composing/creating at the piano and paired them with judgment-free, hands-on workshops so we can work on our improvising and creating skills together, and then use those tools to help inspire our students' musical explorations!
